Internet Development Senior Manager-New Media

Location: Beijing(1人)

Responsibilities

1. Manage STAR’s interactive business and brand strategy

2. Manage STAR’s online brand including stewardship of sub-brands to ensure compliance with overall corporate web standards

3. Business lead for STAR’s family of web sites including the assistance of the marketing and promotion of the sites as well as enhancing and maintaining the sites including overall content management

4. Review and analyze Web site usage metrics and user feedback. Report results to management and implement site enhancements to improve usability

5. Manage relationship with email and search engine optimization agency (TBD) to develop and implement search engine optimization strategies including paid media searches, to make sure sites are properly architected and designed to achieve high algorithmic rankings in search engines

6. Partner with business unit marketing and business development personnel to create online marketing programs to increase site traffic, maximize customer acquisition, retention and drive overall brand performance

7. Manage cross-departmental project teams of internal customers and external vendors to define project scopes, business requirements, and creative vision, set deliverables, and keep projects on schedule and within budget

8. Lead the development of complex information architecture and user experiences, directing the creation of use cases, user scenarios, functional specifications, site maps, wire frames, and workflow diagrams

9. Plan and conduct formal and informal usability testing, and design and manage quality assurance processes

Requirements:
1. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the interactive space. Must be able to articulate an interest in the Internet, information architecture, usability, e-business strategy, and information design. 5+ years demonstrated client and project management experience in online marketing.

2. Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Interactive Media Design, Applied Arts, Commercial Design or related field

3. Expert understanding of information architecture fundamentals, methodology, best practices and documentation standards- Experience in and a solid understanding of web technology solutions and database applications

4. Experience in using desktop design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator; proficient in HTML and Dream Weaver; knowledge of interactive media design using Flash and other programs

5. Experience with content management systems

6. Experience in online advertising and Internet marketing programs

   
  Marketing Manager- Interactive Media

Location: Beijing(1人)

Responsibilities:

1. Interact with sales to formulate marketable sales strategies that are customized to fit specific client objectives and are consistent with the overall Xing Kong Wei Shi and Channel [V] sales goals

2. Evaluate viability of programming/sponsorships from a sales perspective and participate in the development process

3. Liaise with online partners to develop and analyze successful and profitable online relationships and with designers to execute marketing creative assets

4. Develop all Marketing collateral materials to position Xing Kong Wei Shi and Channel [V] day-parts/networks to agencies and advertisers (sales videos, program one sheets, ratings highlights, flash emails and print creative)

5. Conduct research of the competitive environment

6. Represent Xing Kong Wei Shi and Channel [V] Marketing on client calls with Account Executives

7. Supervise Marketing Assistants, freelancers and interns

Requirements:

1. BA / BS Degree required, overseas educated preferred.

2. Over 5 years of experience at an agency, media company, sales organization or in research

3. Solid project management, marketing and strategy experience

4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

5. Strong written and oral communication and English skills

6. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and analyze data to develop strong selling story/distinct positioning

7. Thorough knowledge of brand and media marketing and the sales process

8. Understanding of and ability to analyze data (traffic, ratings, etc)

9. Understanding of the promotion, development and execution process and experience executing promotions

10. Strong interpersonal and management skills with the ability to lead teams and interact with internal and external clients

11. Strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc), basic working knowledge of flash, java script, HTML, XML and presentation proficiencies
